Tree Clicker
A 2D idle clicker game about growing trees.
This is the first game I've built using the Godot engine, where I experimented with different features to learn the basics of the engine, and will continue building small games to get more comfortable with Godot.
Any feedback or suggestions are welcome 😊

The music and gameplay don't align at all to me.
The game itself slow. Meanwhile the music is high-paced and conveys tension.
Thank you for the feedback, yeah I do understand your point. I tried adding something slow paced at first and it just made the game feel empty, but I agree there would be better choices. Since it was just a quick project I just looked for a free asset I could use that has the same theme (trees), and found this "jungle" song and thought it fit well enough.
I loved this game, 3 little suggestions. 1 when you try to buy something you cant afford have a message pop up saying that. 2 have the "Buy" buttons gray or another color when you cant afford them and have them turn green when you can afford them. 3 add little cute descriptions of what upgrade is.
Thank you very much and I love the ideas, will definitely look to implement them soon. I appreciate it a lot!
Cool game but I feel like the GPS upgrades could use a buff.
Thank you very much! Yeah you make a good point about the GPS upgrades, I will rework this at some point for sure :)
Interesting little game, but I feel you should be able to click anywhere in the box and have it count regardless of the tree's size, and there needs to be more upgrades, as the game is very short.
Thank you for the comment! I have now made these changes and hope it makes the game better to play. This is just one of many short projects I'm working on to learn Godot, so I wanted it to be short and just try something out, but I have added some more upgrades to make the game a little longer too :)
If you have time, do you think you can check out my Badgen Clicker game? It's a very basic vibe-coded idle/clicker game that my brother and I made a while ago; my brother technically only added like a subgame and a few small things that I can't recall off the top of my head.
